“Alas, Poor Yorick” is an international collaborative 10mm dab rig created by Phil Sundling (US) and Glass Scribe (UK).
Phil sculpted the large hand holding a clear glass skull with a recessed joint. Crafted in Blue Caramel to achieve a lifelike skin tone, the piece provides the perfect contrast for Scribe’s intricate carving work.
“To dab or not to dab,” a playful nod to Hamlet by William Shakespeare, is carved along the inner forearm. “Love” and “Hate” appear across the knuckles in respectful homage to traditional tattoo culture. A detailed geisha, inspired by an illustration by John Austin, flows from the top of the fist down the arm.
The hand measures approximately 10 inches in length.
